Gosh, this is my third term at Hogwarts! I shouldn't be this excited about classes, right? But I am, even much more than Summer term! I guess, in retrospect, Summer was a nice distraction from the 'normal' magic classes like Charms and DADA, but in the end, I still want to learn real magic, so I can become a powerful witch!
I'm taking nine classes this term. It does sound like a lot, doesn't it? I only hope I don't get bogged down by too much homework! I'm continuing with my favourite Arithmancy this term, but I'm still taking lots of basic classes for things like Potions, Transfigurations and Ancient Runes. I'm pretty excited about Ancient Runes, actually. I've heard lots about Prof. Dragonstorm. And I've seen her in action during that Ian Green incident last term. Made me wish I had taken her class on the magical properties of stones! Oh well, there's always next summer, right?
Some of the classes have already started their first lesson, and I'm real glad to see so many of my friends in the same class! It's getting hard to decide where to sit, because there are so many people I want to catch up with! But then again, during class time isn't the best for catching up, is it? I hope to make more friends too, especially among the firsties. It makes me feel real old, to be a year three now!
